Paint Stripping

About Paint Stripping

Our pyrolysis (burn-off) oven, offers an effective process for the removal of plastic or paint contaminants and coatings from process machinery and components.

This burns off the unwanted coating and residue and preserves the original machinery part with minimal damage, offering prolonged lifetime. This can be done as a solo treatment or before the powder coating process and is often used for product restoration of cars, gates, machinery.

How does it work?

The pyrolysis process removes or breaks down organic materials that have adhered to metal parts. By heating the parts in a reduced oxygen atmosphere, a reaction takes place and reduces the contaminant to a residue that is richer in carbon.

Any emissions that are given off during this process are put through an afterburner that heats these gasses. By heating these gasses it turns them into H2O and CO2.
